- 2 slices good-quality sourdough bread
- ½ ripe avocados
- 1 handful of small lettuce leaves
- pinch of dried red chilli flakes

Preparation
Step 1
Place all of the hummus ingredients into a powerful food processor and pulse until a smooth hummus forms. You may need to add a dash more water if needed until you reach the consistency you like best.
Step 2
Slice the avocado and toast the bread before spooning a large tablespoon of hummus onto one slice.
Step 3
Top the hummus with some lettuce leaves, the sliced avocado, chilli flakes and sandwich together with the last slice of toasted bread.
