Ingredients
- 1 bunch (about 6 ounces) kale (Lacinato or 'Dinosaur' Kale recommended, but curly kale works too)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Sea salt, to taste

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 300°F.
Step 2
Rinse and dry the kale, then remove the stems and tough center ribs.
Step 3
Cut kale into large pieces, toss with olive oil in a bowl, then sprinkle with salt.
Step 4
Arrange leaves in a single layer on a large baking sheet. (Use two sheets if needed, and line with parchment for easy clean-up.)
Step 5
Bake for 20 minutes, or until crisp.
Step 6
Place baking sheet on a rack to cool.

Chef's notes
If making chips to grind for popcorn, use less oil to prevent clumping when grinding.
