- 2 cups fresh cayenne peppers, stems removed
- 1 1/2 cups white wine vinegar
- 1 teaspoon salt

Preparation
Step 1
Wash and dry the cayenne peppers thoroughly.

In a blender or food processor, combine the peppers, vinegar, and salt.

Blend until you get a smooth mixture.

Transfer the mixture into a saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat.

Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.

Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a clean bottle or jar.

Store the hot sauce in the refrigerator for up to 6 months.
