- ¾ cup water
- ¾ cup raw almonds
- ¼ cup grapeseed oil
- ¼ cup lemon juice
- 2 whole chipotles in adobo sauce (from canned chipotles)
- 1 teaspoon adobo sauce (the sauce from a can of chipotle peppers in adobo)
- 4 teaspoons soy sauce (use gluten-free if necessary)
- 4 teaspoons nutritional yeast
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon salt

Preparation
Step 1
In a high-speed blender or food processor, add the water, almonds, oil, lemon juice, chipotles, adobo sauce, soy sauce, nutritional yeast, garlic, paprika, onion powder, and salt.
Step 2
Pulse a few times to break down the almonds, then blend everything on high until smooth and creamy, around 2 to 5 minutes.
Step 3
Enjoy right away or keep stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
