- 8.5 fl oz plant-based milk
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1.5 oz 70% cocoa dark chocolate
- ½ tablespoon coconut sugar
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- pinch of chilli powder
- pinch of sea salt

Preparation
Step 1
Pour the milk into a saucepan, add the cinnamon stick and bring to the boil. Take off the heat, cover and leave to infuse for 15 minutes. Remove the cinnamon stick, then return the saucepan to a low heat and whisk in the chocolate, sugar, vanilla extract, a pinch of chilli powder and salt.
Step 2
Continue to whisk occasionally for around 3 minutes until the chocolate has melted and the hot chocolate is thick, rich and creamy.
