  • 7 oz oats
  • 2.8 oz ground almonds
  • 6 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 ½ tablespoons of melted coconut oil

Preparation

Step 1

Place the oats into a food processor and pulse until they reach a flour like consistency.

Step 2

Add in the ground almonds, maple syrup, cinnamon and coconut oil and pulse again until they come together to form a dough.

Step 3

Use your hands to roll the dough into one large ball and place into the fridge for 30 minutes.

Step 4

After 30 minutes, preheat the oven to 180°C / 160°C fan / 350°F and lightly sprinkle a clean work surface with flour. Line a baking tray with parchment paper and set aside.

Step 5

Roll the dough out until ½ cm thick and use a scone cutter or glass to cut out biscuit shapes.

Step 6

Once you’ve used all of the dough, place the biscuits onto your prepared baking tray and cook for 10-15 minutes until golden.
