Ingredients
4 servings
- 2 small red onions
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 1 tablespoon of vegetable bouillon powder
- 1 teaspoon of buckwheat flour
- 200ml water
- 2 tablespoons tamari
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- pinch of sea salt & black pepper

Preparation
Step 1
Heat the oil in a small pan over medium heat; add the onion and a pinch of salt and pepper. Cook for 5–10 minutes until soft.
Step 2
Add the cumin, thyme, rosemary, bouillon powder and a pinch of black pepper. Stir well and cook for 1–2 minutes.
Step 3
Add the flour and mix well. Then stir in the water and tamari.
Step 4
Leave to simmer for 15–20 minutes until the gravy reaches your preferred thickness — the longer you simmer it, the thicker the gravy will become. If it becomes too thick, simply add a dash of water and heat through again.
