- 5 oz roasted hazelnuts
- 200g pitted Medjool dates
- 1 heaped teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 3.5 oz raisins
- 1 cardamom pod
- 1 ½ tablespoons of cacao powder

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180c, fan setting.
Step 2
Bake the hazelnuts for 8 minutes, then set aside to cool.
Step 3
Pulse half the hazelnuts in a food processor until they are broken down.
Step 4
Add the dates to the food processor, along with the cinnamon, cardamom, cacao and half the raisins.
Step 5
Blend until everything has mixed together and formed a nice sticky dough, then add in the remaining hazelnuts and raisins and pulse a few times to roughly chop them.
Step 6
Roll the mixture into 12 equal sized balls.
Step 7
Place the balls in the fridge for an hour to set, then store in an airtight container in the fridge.
