- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 1 large cauliflower
- pinch of sea salt

Preparation
Step 1
Mix together the olive oil, cumin and salt to create a marinade.
Step 2
Slice the cauliflower head into steaks (about 1cm / ⅓″ thick) and coat in the marinade; leave to one side to let the flavours infuse.
Step 3
Heat a hot griddle pan and add a thin layer of olive oil; wait for the olive oil to warm up before adding the steaks.
Step 4
Cook the cauliflower steaks on each side for 10–15 minutes until charred and cooked through.
