- 9 fl oz oat milk
- ½ onions
- 3 black peppercorns
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 ½ tablespoons flour
- 1 tablespoon olive oil

Preparation
Step 1
Place the milk, onion, black peppercorns and bay leaf in a small saucepan and bring to a gentle simmer. Leave to infuse for 10-15 minutes.
Step 2
Place the flour and olive oil in another small saucepan over medium heat. Whisk constantly for 2-3 minutes until the mixture has thickened. Slowly strain in the heated milk, whisking constantly until you have a smooth, glossy sauce. Remove from the heat and allow to cool before storing in the fridge. Keeps well for one week.
