  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley leaves

Preparation

Step 1

Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add mushrooms, and cook, stirring occasionally, until tender and browned, about 5-6 minutes.

Step 2

Stir in garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.

Step 3

Stir in heavy cream, thyme, and oregano; season with salt and pepper, to taste. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer until reduced and slightly thickened, about 5-6 minutes. Stir in Parmesan.

Step 4

Serve immediately, garnished with parsley, if desired.
