- 2 ounces tequila
- 1 ounce freshly squeezed grapefruit juice
- 1/2 ounce freshly squeezed lime juice
- 1/2 ounce simple syrup
- Club soda, to top
- Lime wedge or grapefruit wedge, for garnish
- Salt, for rim (optional)

Preparation
Step 1
Rim the glass with salt if desired. To do this, run a lime wedge along the rim of the glass and then dip it into a small plate of salt.
Step 2
Fill the glass with ice.
Step 3
In a cocktail shaker, combine the tequila, grapefruit juice, lime juice, and simple syrup. Add ice and shake until well chilled.
Step 4
Strain the mixture into the prepared glass over the ice.
Step 5
Top with club soda.
Step 6
Garnish with a lime wedge or grapefruit wedge and serve immediately.
