Preparation

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and dash of nutmeg.

Step 2

Use a Danish Dough Whisk and whisk the ingredients then carefully whisk in the cream, egg, and vanilla extract.

Step 3

Fold in the banana and form a ball with the dough.

Step 4

Preheat the air fryer to 360°F for 5 minutes.

Step 5

Carefully coat the basket of the air fryer with grapeseed oil spray.

Step 6

Use about a tablespoon full of dough and create dough balls, add those to the basket of the air fryer, and leave room between each one. These may need to be done in batches, typically 4-6 will fit in the air fryer basket.

Step 7

Coat the dough balls with a light coat of grapeseed oil spray.

Step 8

Air Fry at 360°F for 8-9 minutes.

Step 9

Carefully remove and repeat for additional batches. Remember additional batches will not take as long to cook since the air fryer is already heated.

Step 10

While the fritters are in the air fryer, in a small bowl combine the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract to create the glaze.

Step 11

Drizzle each fritter with glaze when fully cooled.

Step 12
