For easy cleanup, you can line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
Make sure you use a large baking sheet so the green beans can be spaced out. You don’t want to overcrowd the pan or the green beans will get soggy and not crispy.
Use tongs to toss the green beans in the olive oil, garlic, shallot, and lemon juice before roasting.
Don’t overcook the beans; you want them to be nice and crisp. Check at 10 minutes to be safe.
