  • For the tart dough:
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 9 tablespoons frozen butter, cut into small pieces
  • 1 large egg yolk
  • For the key lime filling:
  • 1 14-ounce can sweetened condensed milk
  • 4 large egg yolks
  • 2 teaspoons key lime zest
  • 3/4 cup key lime juice

If you can’t find key limes, you can use regular limes, but the little key limes are so cute. You can also buy bottled key lime juice if you are in a pinch.
You can serve the tart with whipped cream or straight up!
