- 1/2 cup unsalted butter at room temperature
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- Zest of 1 large orange
- 2 large eggs at room temperature
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon fresh orange juice
- 1/2 cup whole milk at room temperature
- 1 cup fresh cranberries fresh or frozen
- Coarse sugar for sprinkling on top of muffins
