Chef’s notes
Serve hot Belgian waffles with whipped cream, berries, and pure maple syrup. Sometimes add brown butter buttermilk syrup for a treat.
Keep the waffles warm in a 200 degrees Fahrenheit oven until ready to serve.
For make-ahead waffles, let them cool completely and store them in an airtight container or Ziploc bag. Heat them in a 200 degree Fahrenheit oven to warm and crisp them up.
These waffles freeze beautifully. Reheat by popping them in the toaster to keep them nice and crisp.
