- 1 ½ cups [180 g] pecans, toasted and chopped into bite-sized pieces, divided

These bars pack well for holiday cookie boxes and can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days or frozen for up to two weeks. Refrigerate the bars the night before serving. They can be served cold or at room temperature.
