Ingredients

12 muffins
  • 2 1/2 cups (355g) all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup (150g) granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons poppyseeds
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup mashed bananas, about 2 bananas
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup whole milk
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted and cooled
  • 1/2 cup canola oil
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup banana diced into bite-sized pieces (about 1 banana)
  • 2/3 cup (94g) all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup (66g) granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup (66g) brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup (50g) hazelnut flour (very finely chopped hazelnuts will work here, too)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter room temperature, cut into 6 pieces
