Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Drizzle olive oil on salmon and season fillets.

Place salmon on a parchment or foil-lined baking sheet. Bake for 5-6 minutes or 8 minutes for thicker fillets.

Check doneness by flaking with a fork or measuring an internal temperature of 125-130 degrees F.

Cut a large piece of parchment paper, place in a dutch oven, and add seasoned salmon.

Add lemon slices, and pour 1/3 cup of water, white wine, or broth over the salmon.

Seal parchment, cover pan with lid, and cook on high heat for 5 minutes, then on medium for 8-10 minutes.

Let rest for a few minutes before opening parchment and topping with fresh herbs.

Bring salmon to room temperature for 15-25 minutes. Season fillets.

Heat a skillet with oil over medium heat. Add salmon skin side down and cook undisturbed for about 6 minutes.

Flip and cook for another 2 minutes. Salmon should be medium-rare to medium doneness.

Remove skin from salmon. Cut into cubes and toss with oil and spices.

Air-fry at 400 degrees for 8 minutes until golden and flakey inside.
