  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper (more or less to taste – as written, it will be pretty peppery)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • Alouette Le Bon Dip or Le Petite Fromage for serving
