Ingredients

6-8 servings
  • 2 Medium Cabbage heads
  • 1.5 - 2 lb of chuck roast beef, or top sirloin beef
  • 2-3 Tbsp of McCormick Montreal Steak Seasoning
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 2 large carrots, grated
  • 1 cup of sauerkraut, well drained
  • 3/4 of a 6oz can of tomato paste
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tsp of salt
  • 1/2 tsp of pepper
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 6 Tbsp of olive oil
