  • 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 3/4 cups maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • Supernatural Starfetti sprinkles, optional

This vegan chocolate cake can be made in different variations
- In an 8x8-inch square pan.
- As a layer cake by doubling the recipe and baking in two round 8- or 9-inch cake pans.
- As a sheet cake by doubling the recipe and baking in a 9x13-inch pan.
The frosting is healthy, made with sweet potato, and can be substituted with vanilla frosting if preferred.
