Preparation
Chef’s notes
Slice your onions thinly to allow them to melt into the broth.
Get the onions nice and brown for a rich flavor.
Toast extra baguette slices to enjoy throughout your meal.
Make it ahead. The flavor deepens as it sits in the fridge. It can be refrigerated for up to 2 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
