Ingredients

4-6 servings
  • ½ to 1 jalapeño pepper, diced*
  • ⅓ cup diced red onion
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 2 firm-ripe avocados, pitted and cut into ½-inch pieces
  • ½ English cucumber, cut into ½-inch pieces
  • ¾ cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • Flaky sea salt, optional
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons avocado oil
  • 2½ teaspoons honey
  • 1 garlic clove, grated
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cumin
  • Freshly ground black pepper

*Use a whole pepper if you want the salad to be spicy. Use a half if you’re sensitive to spice.
Variation:
Make a lemony avocado salad! Use fresh lemon juice instead of lime juice in the dressing, and omit the cumin. Replace the cilantro with fresh basil or 2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill.
