4-6 servings
- 1 pound flank steak, cut into 1/4-inch-thick bite-sized pieces
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
- 3–4 cups chopped broccoli florets (about 1 medium head of broccoli)
- 1 batch of sauce (see below)
- 1 tablespoon peanut oil
- 2 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
- optional garnishes: toasted sesame seeds and/or thinly-sliced green onions
- 3/4 cup water
- 3 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly-ground black pepper
- optional: 1-3 teaspoons sriracha, to taste
