- 1 pint fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
- 1 ball fresh mozzarella, diced
- 1/2 cup loosely packed torn fresh basil
- 3 tablespoons balsamic glaze (I used DeLallo, but see instructions below for a homemade alternative)

This pasta salad is great for summer grill-outs or tailgating. It can be served chilled or warm.
If served warm, the mozzarella will melt if tossed with hot pasta.
This recipe maximizes the simplicity of five ingredients without the use of mayonnaise.
