- 10.6 cups whole almonds
- pinch of sea salt

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 180°C / 160°C fan / 350°F.
Step 2
Place the almonds on a baking tray and bake for 12-15 minutes until darkened, fragrant, and beginning to release their natural oils. Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly on a wire rack.
Step 3
Place into a food processor with the salt and blend for around 15 minutes until a smooth mixture forms. If you are concerned your machine is overheating stop and do this in intervals.
Step 4
Once prepared, you can store this spread in an airtight container for up to one month.
