- 16 pitted Medjool dates
- 3.5 oz pecans
- 6 tablespoons of cacao powder
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 shot espresso
- 1 tablespoon melted coconut oil

Preparation
Step 1
Simply blend the pecans in a food processor until they form a crumbly mixture.
Step 2
Add the dates, cacao, espresso, coconut oil and maple syrup and blend again.
Step 3
Once it’s very sticky place the mixture into a baking tray and freeze for about an hour to set.
Step 4
Once set, remove from the freezer.
Step 5
Gently melt all the icing ingredients together, leave to cool before spreading across the brownies.
Step 6
Cut into individual brownies, before storing in the fridge.
