- 8 small sweet potatoes
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 5 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 heaped teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 heaped teaspoon paprika
- pinch of sea salt

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 190°C / 170°C fan / 375°F.
Step 2
Using a sharp knife, slice thin scores, about ¾ of the way through each sweet potato, about ½ cm apart from one another.
Step 3
Place the sweet potatoes into a baking tray and cover with the rest of the ingredients, rubbing to ensure the oil and spices get in between the scores.
Step 4
Bake for 45–50 minutes, until crispy on top and soft inside.
