- 240g canned chickpeas
- 9 oz mushrooms
- 1 onion
- 3 cloves garlic
- pinch of sea salt
- pinch of sea salt & black pepper
- drizzle of olive oil

Preparation
Step 1
Make the creamy sauce by placing all of the ingredients into a powerful blender and blending until smooth. You can add a dash more almond milk if you want it a little thinner.
Step 2
Place a pan over a medium heat and add a drizzle of olive oil. Once warm, add the onion, garlic and a pinch of salt. Cook for 5-10 minutes until soft. Add the mushrooms, mix well and cook for 5 minutes until they begin to soften.
Step 3
Once the mushrooms are soft, add the drained chickpeas and 3 tablespoons of the creamy sauce. Mix well and cook for 10 minutes until everything is thick and creamy, adding more of the creamy sauce if you want it more saucy. Store any extra sauce in an airtight container in the fridge for a week.
Step 4
Once ready to serve, spoon into bowls and top with freshly cracked pepper.
