  • 7 oz jumbo oats
  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 6 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 4 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 6 tablespoons of smooth peanut butter

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 200C, fan setting.

Step 2

Place the oats into a large mixing bowl.

Step 3

Mash the banana in a separate bowl before mixing through the melted coconut oil, peanut butter and maple syrup. Mix well until a smooth batter forms before pouring over the top of the oats. Mix everything together really well.

Step 4

Spoon the mixture into a lined baking tray and bake for 15-20 minutes.

Step 5

While the flapjack is baking, make the topping by placing all of the ingredients into a powerful blender and blending until smooth.

Step 6

Once the flapjack has finished baking, remove from the oven and leave it to cool to room temperature.

Step 7

Once cool, spoon over the chocolate topping and cut into equal sized flapjacks.
