- 4 ripe bananas

Preparation
Step 1
Simply remove the bananas from their skins and slice them into pieces.
Step 2
Place them in the freezer for at least 6 hours or overnight.
Step 3
When you are ready to serve the ice cream, place the frozen banana pieces into a food processor or blender.
Step 4
Pulse until smooth and creamy, about 5 minutes. At this point, add a pinch of cinnamon (if using) and pulse again to mix through.
Step 5
Serve the ice cream straight away as it melts very quickly, or spoon into a sealed container and place into the freezer.
