- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- Pinch of salt
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup apple cider or water

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).

Core the apples using an apple corer or a paring knife, being careful not to pierce through the bottom.

In a medium bowl, combine the oats, pecans, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.

Pour the melted butter over the mixture and stir until well combined.

Fill each apple with the oat mixture, pressing it down gently to pack it in.

Place the apples in a baking dish and pour the apple cider or water into the bottom of the dish.
