- 500g ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 400g canned tomatoes
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 carrot, grated
- 1 celery stalk, chopped
- 1/2 cup red wine
- 1 cup beef stock
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 400g spaghetti
- Parmesan cheese, grated

Preparation
Step 1
Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
Step 2
Add diced onion and minced garlic; sauté until translucent.
Step 3
Add ground beef; cook until browned.
Step 4
Stir in grated carrot and chopped celery; cook for another 5 minutes.

Add canned tomatoes and tomato paste; mix well.
Step 6
Pour in red wine and let it simmer for 2 minutes.

Add beef stock; bring to a boil.

Reduce heat to low; let the sauce simmer for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

In another pot, cook spaghetti according to package instructions.

Drain spaghetti and serve with Bolognese sauce on top.
