- 1 cup warm water (about 110°F)
- 1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) instant yeast
- 1 1/4 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon honey or sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt

Preparation
Step 1
In a large mixing bowl, combine warm water and yeast. Stir and let it rest for 5 minutes until the yeast is dissolved.

Add whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour, olive oil, honey (or sugar), and salt to the yeast mixture.

Mix until a dough starts to form, then knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.

Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover it with a towel, and let it rise in a warm place for 1-2 hours until doubled in size.

Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) with a pizza stone or baking sheet inside.

Punch down the dough and divide it into two portions for two smaller pizzas or keep it whole for one large pizza.

Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to your desired thickness.

Transfer the rolled out dough to a sheet of parchment paper, top with your favorite toppings, and slide onto the preheated pizza stone or baking sheet.
Step 9
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
