Cream Cheese Frosting

In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter and cream cheese together until light and fluffy.

Gradually add the powdered sugar, one cup at a time, beating well on medium speed after each addition until the frosting is thick but spreadable.

Beat in the vanilla extract until well incorporated.

If the frosting is too thick, add a teaspoon of milk at a time until the desired consistency is achieved.

Keep covered and stored in the refrigerator if not using immediately.
