- 1 tbsp lemon zest (about 1 large lemon)
- 1/4 cup (50g) granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp all purpose flour
- 1 large egg
- Lemon Coffee Cake
- 2 cups (265g) all purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup (110g) unsalted butter, room temp
- 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp lemon zest (about 1 large lemon)
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs, room temp
- 1 cup (230g) sour cream or Greek yogurt

PAN SIZE – This recipe can also be made in a 9″ square baking dish, a round 9″ cake pan, or 10″ springform pan, as long as they have tall sides. Make sure to line the bottom of the pan with parchment paper and allow the cake to cool completely before removing it from the pan, if you choose to do so.
