  • 3/4 cup (150g) light brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted (regular or plant-based)
  • 1 cup fresh blackberries, divided (3/4 cup, 115g / 1/4 cup, 35g)
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries, divided (3/4 cup, 105g / 1/4 cup, 28g)
  • 2 tbsp light brown sugar, packed
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tsp lemon zest (about 1 lemon)
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice (about 1 lemon)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup (110g) strawberry preserves
