Most flour can be kept in airtight containers at room temperature, however, whole wheat flours and nut and seed flours are more prone to going rancid, so it is recommended to keep those in airtight containers or bags in the freezer.
While all-purpose flour is widely available, some specialty flours may need to be ordered online.
