  • For the Apples:

  • 2½ pounds Granny Smith apples (about 5), peeled, cored and finely chopped
  • ¼ cup light brown sugar

  • ¼ cup apple cider vinegar

  • For the Glaze:
  • ¾ cup powdered sugar
  • ¼ cup apple cider
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
