  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs, at room temperature
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon turbinado sugar, for sprinkling on muffins
