Preparation
Step 1
Rinse rice in a fine-mesh strainer until water runs clear.
Step 2
For Instant Pot: Combine 1 1/4 cups water for every cup of rice with a pinch of salt. Cook for 3 minutes for white rice or 15 minutes for brown rice, followed by natural pressure release.
Step 3
For Stovetop: Use 2 cups water for every cup of rice. Bring to boil, add rice, reduce to simmer, and cover. Cook for 16-17 minutes for white rice or 45 minutes for brown rice.
Step 4
For Air Fryer: Toss cooked jasmine rice with avocado oil, air fry at 425°F for 7-9 minutes until golden and crispy.
