Preparation
Step 1
Scrub gently in hot water with a Cast Iron Brush.
Step 2
Dry the pan.
Step 3
Place the dry, empty pan over high heat for 3-5 minutes to further dry it out.
Step 4
Add 1-2 teaspoons of canola oil or coconut oil to the pan. Rub the oil into the hot pan with a paper towel or soft cloth until absorbed.
Step 5
Remove from heat.
Step 6

Chef's notes
Do not use soap for cleaning as it can damage the seasoning.
Regular seasoning is recommended to maintain the skillet's non-stick properties.
