  • 16 oz semisweet chocolate chips, (2 1/2 cups by measuring cup), divided
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 Tbsp instant coffee granules, (6.2 grams)
  • 3 Tbsp light olive oil or vegetable oil
  • 1 Tbsp vanilla extract
  • 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
