- 1 cup raw almonds, soaked overnight
- 3½ cups filtered water
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 teaspoons pure vanilla extract

Preparation
Step 1
Combine the almonds and water in a blender and blend for 30 seconds to 1 minute, until creamy.
Step 2
Place a nut milk bag over a large bowl and strain the milk, squeezing out as much liquid as you can.
Step 3
Add the maple syrup and vanilla, if desired.

Use homemade almond milk right away, or store it in an airtight jar in the fridge for up to a week. It will separate as it sits. Just stir or shake to combine it before using!
If you prefer a sweeter plant-based milk, stir in a little maple syrup and vanilla extract to taste.
