  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup walnuts (toasted)
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup toasted coconut
  • 2 1/4 cup holiday chocolate chips (or 3/4 cup holiday M&Ms and 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips)
  • 1 cup butter (melted, 2 sticks)
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon milk

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat to 350 degrees.

Step 2

Line a 9x13 inch Pyrex pan with parchment paper.

Step 3

In a small bowl combine the butter, eggs, vanilla and milk.

Step 4

In a large bowl or bowl of a stand mixer add the flour, brown sugar, walnuts, baking powder, salt and coconut.

Step 5

Add the wet ingredients and mix until just combined. Add 2 cups of the holiday chocolate chips, or 1/2 cups of holiday M&M's and 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips. Pour the batter into the prepared Pyrex dish.

Step 6

Chop the remaining chips or candies and sprinkle on to of the blondies.

Step 7

Bake for 30-35 minutes. Allow to cool 30 minutes before removing from the pan and cutting.
