- 1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 cups milk (I used 2%)
- 2 cups chicken broth (vegetable broth can be used)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup parmesan cheese (grated)
- 2 cups whole milk ricatta (16oz)
- 1 cup gorgonzola cheese (finely crumbled, 8oz)
- 1 egg
- 2 packages frozen spinach thawed and drained
- 2 cups cooked chicken (cut into bite size pieces (optional)
- 1 pound fresh lasagna noodles or 8oz uncooked lasagna noodles (about 10)
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese (grated)
