Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 cups milk (I used 2%)
  • 2 cups chicken broth (vegetable broth can be used)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 2 cups whole milk ricatta (16oz)
  • 1 cup gorgonzola cheese (finely crumbled, 8oz)
  • 1 egg
  • 2 packages frozen spinach thawed and drained
  • 2 cups cooked chicken (cut into bite size pieces (optional)
  • 1 pound fresh lasagna noodles or 8oz uncooked lasagna noodles (about 10)
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese (grated)
