- 3.5 oz pumpkin
- drizzle of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon coconut sugar
- pinch of flaky sea salt

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 200°C / 180°C fan / 400°F.
Step 2
Place the pumpkin pieces on a baking tray, drizzle over the olive oil and sprinkle with the cinnamon, paprika, coconut sugar and flaky sea salt. Toss to coat.
Step 3
Place in the oven and bake for 35–40 minutes, turning halfway through.
Step 4
While the pumpkin is roasting, make the hummus. Place all of the ingredients, apart from the water, into a food processor and blitz until smooth. Then slowly stream in the water, while continuing to mix, to create a creamy hummus.
Step 5
When the pumpkin is tender, remove from the oven and leave to cool, before mashing roughly with a fork.
Step 6
Place the hummus in a bowl and swirl through the pumpkin mash. Top with a drizzle of olive oil, a sprinkling of chilli flakes, flaky sea salt and some finely chopped fresh sage, if desired.
