  • 2.8 oz oats
  • 2.8 oz jumbo oats
  • 4.5 oz raisins
  • 2.8 oz almonds
  • 4 fl oz maple syrup
  • 2.3 oz pumpkin seeds
  • 2 oz sunflower seeds
  • 2 tablespoons almond butter
  • 2 teaspoons of ground cinnamon
  • 2 ½ tablespoons of ground chia seeds
  • 6 pitted Medjool dates
  • pinch of sea salt

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 180C (350F), fan setting.

Step 2

In a large bowl, mix together the oats, raisins, almonds, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, cinnamon, chia seeds and salt.

Step 3

Place the almond butter, dates and maple syrup in a food processor and pulse until smooth.

Step 4

Stir this into the dry ingredients, along with a splash of water and mix well until everything becomes sticky.

Step 5

Spoon the mixture into a lined baking tray, press down and bake for 25 minutes, until golden.

Step 6

Once cooked, remove and leave to cool before cutting into even bars.
